Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, located just across the street from WondWorks, has been proudly freaking out families for over 90 years. There’s always something undiscovered at Ripley’s! Thousands of astonishing and unusual artifacts collected from the far-corners of the world all guaranteed real and mind boggling. Ripley’s museum is a careful balance between the strange, the shocking and the beautiful. There are works of art made from everyday objects, incredible collections, and samples of strange hobbies. There are exhibits from the world of science and illusions, hands-on interactive displays, videos and state of the art special effects, all set in exotic themed surroundings.
From the moment you enter Ripley’s ship wrecked vessel you’ll feel as if you have entered into a world of amazement. As you get up close to Ripley’s weird and unusual collection, you’ll feel the energy entering your body. The hair on your arms will stand on end as you proceed through the museum into Ripley’s 4D Moving Theater to experience the ride of your life.
WonderWorks, located just across the street from Ripley’s, is an amusement park for the mind with 35,000 square feet of “edu-tainment”. The attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.
This once top-secret laboratory was located in the Bermuda triangle. An experiment gone awry lifted the laboratory carrying it to Front Beach Road in Panama City Beach where it landed upside down. Luckily all of the exhibits remained intact and available for guests to explore.
With the ceiling under your feet and the ground above your head, WonderWorks will turn your world upside down. Pass through the inversion tunnel to realign yourself and start your adventure!
