Being able to swim and interact with dolphins is a dream come true for many, especially young children, but this can prove to be expensive if you go on one of the guided boat or snorkeling tours. In addition, there is no guarantee that you will be able to actually see a dolphin, and tourists are not allowed to interact with the dolphins in any way. If you would like to get a chance to actually swim with and touch a dolphin or two, head to Gulf World Marine Park, which is one of the few places in the country that offers this activity.

Children as young as 5 years old can have the opportunity to interact with one or more of the trained dolphins at Gulf World, and this program gives guests over an hour to not only be in the water with the dolphins, but to learn about these beautiful animals and the efforts to conserve the wild dolphin habitats. Reservations are required, as this is the most popular activity that Gulf World offers.

As for the rest of Gulf World’s sights and activities, guests should be aware that they should not expect anything close to Sea World, but there are plenty of things to see and do here.
